July 11th,
I've been unable to update my webpage now for at least a month. Right now it seems to be woriking but I'm not holding my breath that it will last too long.
Here is the rundown of the patch. In general things a are a good 7-10 days behind. I am attributing this to the cold wet spring that we have had. It has warmed a bit lately but it is still below normal.
1040 #1- This plant was double planted with the 1161. I ended up culling that plant as it just wasn't doing what it needed to. I pollinated flower on it earlier this week at about 10'. It is still too early to tell it has taken
1566- This plant is doing well. Pollinated a flower at about 13' on the 9th. unfortunatly I walked away and forgot to tie is closed so will be considered open pollinated if it takes.
1502- Is being grown in a double christmas tree pattern as I culled the 772 because it was a ribbon vine. I have a flower pollinated on the main vine at about 10'. Again too early to tell if it has set
1040 #2- Is growing well. again flower pollinated at about 9' too early to tell if it has set
919- is the second best plant. flower pollinated at about 12-13' Too early to tell if it has set.
Blake's plants are history. I tilled them under 10 days ago as he hadn't cared for them and any interest he had was gone.
The Barley on the north half was tilled under and I planted Sudan Grass on the 5th.

I doubt any records will be set this year, there is too much time to be made up.
