| This was the backpack trip that Blake and I had been promising ourselves for over a year. We tried to get here in June but there was too much snow. 6 miles in 2100' elevation gained made for a decent hike in on Friday. Coming out was easy. Blake didn't care where we went as long as we got to fish. He didn't care whether we caught any or not but that was an added bonus. The fishing was actually awesome. I caught 19 and he caught 15 in less the two hours fishing. No size to them but its the bite that counts. We got a nice little thunderstorm Friday night as well | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| My fish is bigger then his fish (by a millimeter or so) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Wiggy boots sure make the stream crossings easier. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mt Fitzpatrick from the trail heading in. The lower lake sits just on the north (right) edge of this mountain. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
