Green Lake Wyoming, July 25th 2008
We are trying to get in shape for our Caribou hunt in a month so this was a hike we went on to attempt to do this. This is the first hike where all three of the bigger kids have come (actually Karlie's first real hike). According to the map it was to be 4 miles but with all the new switchbacks and trail changes it was 5.5 miles one-way. Total climb was about 2300 feet. So it turned out to be no slouch of a hike.
This is located east of Tetonia just to the west of Mt. Moran. As you can see it is quite picturesque place. Most of the hike is up high mountain meadows with lush wild flower growth.
