| Last year one of our goals was to make a backpacking trip. We never did it. This year we were determined to do it. Our destination was to be Crow Creek Lakes in western Wyoming. This first picture is from the Grey's river drainage. Crow creek lakes are at 9000 feet up near the top of this range. Still to much snow to even attempt this hike. So we turned around and went to lower elevation to our hunting grounds and turned it into a scouting trip as well. We had never been into this country on this particualar trail. Ended up with about 10.5 miles under out belt. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| By fall this lush meadow is nothing but dirt. The cow and game have them tilled under to the consistency of a garden ready to be planted. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
