This is our twenty miler for my hiking merit badge. We went to Union and Terrace Falls. We had alot of fun. We saw a pine martine and a lot of chipmunks dad could have kicked one and we tried to feed it a skittle, and we also saw a bear track in the dirt it was cool. We were origionaly planing to go on the old rail road but my merit badge councilor advised us to go to Union Falls I'm glad we did. There was alot of poeple hiking and alot on horses we only had to cross one river on the other one there was a log jam and dad still hadn't learned his lesson from table rock when he slipped on a wet rock and broke his watch. This time he slipped on a wet log and it stabed him between his eyes and he scratched his nose when this happened we were only half a mile away from the truck. We had alot of fun and we had a great time. Next year me and dad decided that we were going to do my backpacking merit badge. I have had alot of fun doing these hikes we have one more ten miler left to do for my hiking merit badge.
