| This was the day dad was going to pick me up from school to go deer hunting. I remember on the way out there I asked dad if your own deer heart was better than someone else’s deer heart he said you will tell me the answer today. So me and dad were driving down the road and we stop at a look out and are spotting them and dad said to me get out the spotting scope so I did and it was a herd of three deer and dad says that they are over two miles away. So we drive over to wear we think they are and dad gets out his binoculars and they are looking strait at us. And so dad backs up and we go on a stock I was getting so exited and we go on this one hill and I’m looking around and I see some thing shine and so I tell him and he said that’s a deer so we’re walking down the hill and I saw another thing flash and so I tell dad and automatically he sits down and I’m like you can’t see him from there so he crawls up the hill and sure enough there’s that buck starring at us so we move down to were I could shoot and on the way we spooked up a doe and it ran away and started a warning call to the stupid buck to get him-self out of there and then we got to where I was going to shoot and wasn’t comfortable enough and so we move up again and I sit on a cactus I hurt and so we move up again and finally I got comfortable then dad says we could be here for hours I’m thinking great I don’t want to sit here all day after that I had time to contemplate my shot and then dad says there’s a flock of sage chickens and it spooked up the deer and he ran to the top of the hill and it turned a little and I asked dad if I could shoot he said not yet I’ll tell you when and he said now and I shot it and ( the ring did not even hurt my ear) I hit him and then it limped around and then dropped in its tracks me and dad just started a hollering and dad went and examined it and it got shot in leg and backbone and broke both of them and it also hit its lungs. me and dad had a great day. I answered the question it is yes. | ||||||||
